Travel photography, for me, is about arriving somewhere with an open eye — before expectations settle in and the obvious shots present themselves. I look for the details that make a place specific: the light at a particular hour, the textures, the quiet moments between people and their surroundings. The kind of images that make you feel the place rather than simply recognise it.
